Slash Command

What is it?

While the Analytics Dashboard is the main source of insight, sometimes it's helpful to get a quick rundown without having to open a browser. Don't worry, we've got you covered! You can retrieve a brief summary for your entire workspace or just a single channel via the in-Slack command /acuity. This becomes available as soon as the installation process is complete, though like the Dashboard, it can take some time for us to see enough workspace activity to start providing insight.

How do I use it?

Just start typing /acuity in any channel and Slack will highlight the command.

The /acuity command accepts a few optional parameters:

  • /acuity help — Display a synopsis on how to use the command
  • /acuity — Generate a workspace-level summary
  • /acuity #channelname — Generate a summary for a specific channel, e.g. /acuity #general

Any commands sent to ChatAcuity and their responses are only visible to you, so don't worry about cluttering up a channel.
